Hi John,
Get this: We've had over 4,000 young folks sign up since the Snapchat run for office mini launched last week!
This is how we recruit at scale, and it's so inspiring to see so many young folks join our candidate pipeline.
And for those who think they can't run because they aren't a "traditional candidate," I hope they get inspired by today's podcast guest: Shan Rose.
Shan never imagined she would run for office. She experienced homelessness as a teenager, lost her husband to gun violence, and lost her son to medical issues -- she took that trauma and put it to use as a nonprofit executive and a community activist working to better the lives of thousands in her community. And now, she's taking it to the next level by running for a city council seat in Orlando.
Tune in this week to learn how Shan is using her skills as a community organizer to create a new Orlando city where kids can just be kids >>
