Folks, to be frank, the odds are stacked against Democrats in the upcoming midterm elections. That’s why defending the seats we already hold is so important — especially in New Mexico’s nearly all-blue congressional delegation.

Every day I fight to make life better for the people of New Mexico alongside my fellow Democratic colleagues, Senator Ben Ray Luján and Representatives Melanie Stansbury and Teresa Leger Fernandez.

Our work is rooted in New Mexico. Together, we’ve helped secure over $5 million in mental health resources for New Mexico’s youth and over $7 million to help the Albuquerque International Sunport build zero and low-emission infrastructure. And that’s just the start.

We all also treasure New Mexico’s public lands and want to preserve our state’s natural resources for future generations. It’s why we’re doing everything we can to reduce air pollution, protect water resources, and act on climate.

When Ben Ray Luján, Melanie Stansbury, Teresa Leger Fernandez, and I come together, we punch above our weight and deliver tangible results for New Mexicans and the whole country.

But the midterms are on the horizon. That’s why it’s so important we keep New Mexico blue so we can keep up our work to make life better for folks in our state.

Friend, can you pitch in to fuel the work of New Mexico’s federal Democratic leadership? Every dollar helps!

Whether it’s simply reading this email or chipping in any amount you can afford, it means a great deal to me and my fellow New Mexico Democrats. Thank you for being an important part of our work.
