John -- If you take a look at the recently proposed GOP map in Georgia, you probably wouldn't know that Republicans in Georgia received only 51% of the vote share in the 2020 congressional elections.
Their new congressional map is drawn to guarantee that Republicans will win nearly 65% of congressional seats for the next decade.
Georgia is an evenly divided state. A fair map would give voters an opportunity to elect a congressional delegation that allows for seven Democrats and seven Republicans. This map fails to do that.
Right now, our team in the state is working on plans to help ensure that map drawers hear about why the new Republican map does not fairly represent Georgia’s communities.
As we help voters in states across the country prepare for accountability and advocacy efforts, will you help make sure we have the resources to be effective in this fight?

For weeks, voters in Georgia have been calling for a more transparent process in advance of the state legislature’s special session on redistricting.
Even A.G. Holder raised the issue that: "The [redistricting] process thus far has been neither transparent nor responsive to the will of Georgians..."
Can you chip in $25 to help us fight for a fair and transparent redistricting process in Georgia and across the country?
