Team Wittman,
I want to hear your thoughts on what parents' role should be in their children's education!
By now you've heard Gov Terry McAuliffe's remark heard 'round the world [[link removed]]:
🚨"I don't think parents should be telling schools what they should teach" 🚨
Just a reminder to Gov McAuliffe that school boards are elected by the people, so they do in fact answer to parents directly.
When parents are speaking up about library books that include pedophilia [[link removed]], elected officials including the govenor need to listen to the people they work for. Instead McAuliffe vetoed a bill [[link removed]] that would require schools to warn parents about these books.
The problem here is that it's not just our Governor who thinks the government should be deciding everything for our children, its also members of Joe Biden's cabinet like Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona who recently agreed with McAuliffe, suggesting that parents should not be the primary stakeholder in their kids' education. Democrat politicians want you to believe that they know more about your kids than you do; it's all part of their plan.
Democrats wrongly think politicians know best, Republicans know parents do.
