Manufacturers are concerned about distribution's digital capabilities, channel popularity and ability to promote their brand, according to a survey commissioned by the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors. "Manufacturers told us that the most powerful way distributors can become more important to them is by improving the product knowledge of their customer-facing employees," Ian Heller writes.
KeHE Distributors is opening a 500,000-square-foot distribution center outside of Phoenix that is expected to add more than 270 jobs. This is the first DC in the state for KeHe, which is holding a job fair next week.
