The days are getting colder. And thankfully, so are states’ attitudes toward the Trump administration’s request to hand over citizenship data! As of Wednesday, the vast majority of state motor vehicle agencies have declined to share their records [[link removed]] with the U.S. Census Bureau, even after the bureau submitted a formal request. Their refusal means the administration can't get citizenship data or go around the Supreme Court's ruling against adding a citizenship question on the census.
We need more public officials to stand up against these kinds of xenophobic attacks and protect the privacy and rights of #PeopleLikeUs!

Woke
[[link removed]]
The federal Supreme Court is failing us.
Despite outcry from #PeopleLikeUs and allies, the Court gave a free pass to electoral thieves [[link removed]] by wiping out a previous ruling preventing partisan gerrymandering in Michigan. This decision makes it easier to sway elections and restrict our power and ability to create a more inclusive democracy. However, there is somewhat of a silver lining: gerrymandering claims can still be heard by state courts. Let's make sure we have the right judges in place to protect our democracy. To do this, #PeopleLikeUs need to stay woke and vote!
