Church Action on Poverty is delighted to announce the publication of Our Cookery Book , an inspirational cookbook compiled by members of the Self-Reliant Groups
[[link removed]] (SRGs) we support in the North West.


MAKING FOOD, MAKING FRIENDS

SRG members share favourite recipes, together with stories about what cooking
and sharing the food has meant to them in their lives.

All proceeds support Self-Reliant Groups to continue their work.

The book is launched today as part of Challenge Poverty Week England & Wales [[link removed]], with a special online event at 6pm where the writers will talk about their involvement in the book and demonstrate one of the recipes.
