Welcome to The Agenda (yeah - THAT agenda), your weekly update on what's happening in the LGBTQ political world. Whatever you do, don’t forward it to Mike Pence. He doesn't need to know what we're planning! Forward it to a friend instead.

Overview: A new slate of 2020 and 2019 candidates, Spotlight candidates countdown to Election Day and more!
NEW LGBTQ ENDORSEES
It’s a bittersweet endorsement announcement: meet the last group of 2019 candidates and a new batch of 2020 candidates!
Michael Bowman, on the ballot in two short weeks, is making his case to become the first openly LGBTQ statewide official in Kentucky as Kentucky State Treasurer.
And Liz Breadon – our latest endorsement for the Boston City Council – sat down with WGBH to make her case for why she should represent Boston’s District 9.
We also added two new Congressional endorsements for 2020: John Blair’s exciting race for New Mexico 3rd and Mondaire Jones’s race for New York’s 17th!
Finally: we’ve endorsed a huge slate of incumbents from Vermont to California. One of them stopped by our office – watch California Senator Toni Atkins' message to Victory Fund supporters here:

COUNTDOWN TO ELECTION DAY
Spotlight candidate Danica Roem faced off against opponent Kelly McGinn in a recent debate. Reports indicate that Danica won handily, despite her opponent's outrageous claim that she isn’t a real mom.
Meanwhile, Spotlight candidate Dawn Adams continues to campaign hard and knock doors before Election Day – just under two weeks!
In Texas, Spotlight candidate Eliz Markowitz was busy mobilizing early voters. Mobilizing voters now will pay huge dividends later – learn more about her ambitious ground game here.

FEEL THE PETE WAVE
Two pieces of great news for Pete Buttigieg: polling places him among the top contenders in Iowa, overtaking Senator Sanders. Meanwhile, The Hill described Pete as the newest threat to Vice President Biden.
Capitalizing on the success of the debate, Team Pete launched another ad for the Iowa airwaves. Watch it here!
Pete also issued policy plans to address women’s issues, like closing the pay gap and protecting reproductive choice. Check out Pete’s full plan here.
Overwhelmed by Pete’s success and unable to contain their disdain, a Tennessee official launched into a homophobic tirade, saying "We got a queer running for president, if that ain't about as ugly as you can get”.
And a Ohio Republican, infuriated by Pete, stated “we need to make homosexutality unthinkable again”.

TAKEOVER THURSDAY
Big news, social media fans! Thursdays in October, one of our endorsed candidates will be taking over our social media to give us an inside look into their race and life on the campaign trail. NEXT UP: INDIANAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATE KEITH POTTS!

MOMENT OF ZEN
Alejandra St. Guillen joined the seven other At-Large Council candidates for a public forum, where they debate issues like updating Boston’s fractured public transit and addressing substance abuse.
