Each year with the support of hundreds of our partners across the country, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service launches Hope for the Holidays - a drive to bring thousands of handwritten holiday cards and gifts to children and families affected by immigration detention.
This year, our work is especially important. The coronavirus pandemic has intensified the isolation that immigrants experience by frequently postponing visits from their families and from volunteers in their communities. Your participation will remind them that they are not forgotten this holiday season.
Join us tomorrow, October 12th from 4-4:45pm EDT to learn more about ways to get involved in this year's program, hear updates on the current state of immigration in the United States, and more.
