Jack,
The deadline to submit a comment to the Department of Energy (DOE) opposing a new uranium reserve was extended.
As you may know, on August 11, President Biden opened up a 30-day public comment period for the creation of a uranium reserve. This uranium reserve would place precious public lands like the Grand Canyon and Bears Ears at risk of contamination while supporting activities with a legacy of harming frontline Indigenous communities.
Now we have just until October 13 to demonstrate that people across the nation do NOT want a new uranium reserve.
Help The Trust for Public Land reach 10,000 public comments to the DOE before midnight opposing the creation of this uranium reserve. Sign your name now >>

Our public lands provide incredible economic and social benefits to all Americans, particularly for local communities and businesses. We cannot support the creation of a uranium reserve that risks threatening our public lands or harming frontline Indigenous communities with toxic uranium contamination.
Sign your name and send your public comment to the DOE now: Say NO to the uranium reserve before it’s too late!

Thank you,
The Trust for Public Land
P.S. The uranium reserve would also subsidize the U.S. uranium industry at the expense of taxpayer dollars. We can’t let that happen. Send your message now to fight back.
