"Senate GOP blocks three election security bills"
— The Hill |
This week Senate Republicans blocked Mark's bipartisan election security legislation, the FIRE Act, which would require presidential campaigns to report attempts at election interference to the FBI.
Why? Because Donald Trump has made it clear he can't stand this bill.
Mark's not going to back down when it comes to securing our elections. But if we really want to stop Donald Trump from personally blocking Mark's crucial legislation, we need to flip the Senate and take back the White House.
To do this, we need to work together to keep Virginia blue. Will you chip in now to help Mark win and send Donald Trump packing in 2020?

We know the President is personally fighting to stop Mark's election security legislation because he cheered on GOP Senators for blocking it. Meanwhile, the White House singled out the legislation for a veto if it makes it to the President's desk.
With all the news that's come out about the President's attempts to solicit dirt on his political opponent, Joe Biden, Mark believes it is more important than ever that we require presidential candidates to report attempted foreign interference.
Unfortunately, nearly three years after Russia attacked our democracy, the Senate has refused to act on bipartisan election security legislation that would secure our elections ahead of 2020. If we're going to change that, we need a Democratic Senate and a President who will put the security of our democracy ahead of personal political interests.
That path to victory runs right through the Commonwealth of Virginia. So please, chip in today and help Mark keep up the fight for election security.
