John, I just got an update from Terry.

He told me that his team has analyzed the initial totals from early voting, and if we want to win big in November, we need to mobilize more Democrats.

There’s not much time left in this race, John, so every day makes a huge difference.

We've seen incredible Democratic enthusiasm in Virginia in recent elections — from the 2017 statewide Democratic sweep to flipping the General Assembly blue in 2019 to Joe Biden's 10-point victory last fall — and we can't let that enthusiasm dip this year. It's just too important.

Terry told me that needs to ramp up his voter outreach and mobilization efforts right away — because the only way he’ll be able to win this race is if he can reach every single voter in Virginia with his message about the stakes of this election.
