Hi John,

I am the only candidate in this race with an unapologetic vision
of housing, healthcare, and a healthy climate for all. Can you
support me with a quick donation right now, so I can fight for
this vision in Congress? (

I found out something ludicrous recently.

You know the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II — the plane famous
for having a projected lifetime cost of $1.7 trillion despite its
poor performance and constant delays?

Turns out it can’t fly in lightning.

Yes, you read that correctly: the “Lightning” can’t fly in
lightning. At one point, it couldn’t even fly within 25 miles of
lightning.

The Texas-made plane has also, at various times, been unable to
fly in cold weather or shoot straight, and it even has trouble
flying in the rain. Poor flightless bird.

Somehow, despite all this wasteful spending, conservatives say we
don’t have money for climate change and childcare. Hmm…

We absolutely do have the money. We’re the richest country on
Earth, yet 1 in 6 kids goes hungry here. 550,000 people are
homeless. We have a lower life expectancy and worse health
outcomes than other wealthy nations, despite spending much more
on healthcare.

These problems are fixable. But it will take grassroots
candidates who aren’t corrupted by corporate money to fight for
them, and that’s why I need your help. Please donate $7 or
whatever you can afford to help me win my election, so I can
fight for you — not corporations — in Congress:
