John, I can hardly believe we are nearing the end of this campaign.

As I look back on the incredible work we’ve done — knocking doors, listening to the needs of Virginia’s working families, and fighting to keep our Democratic majority alive — I’m reminded of what this is all about.

This campaign is about “we”, not me.

I’ll explain in a moment, John, but first can I count on you to chip in $3? We’re less than one month away from Election Day, and every dollar gets us that much closer to winning this race. »

As I said, John, this campaign is about more than just me.

I’m running to keep all Virginians in mind. Together, with our Democratic majorities, we’ve gotten so much inspiring work done — we expanded Medicaid, fought for gun safety reform, passed the ERA, and so much more.

And if you elect me as Virginia’s Lt. Governor, I’ll continue this great work on behalf of you and every Virginian.

I know the nature of my election would be historic as the first woman and first Afro‑Latina to ever hold the Lt. Governor’s office — but this is about all of us. It’s about how representation in government opens doors and gives us a more diverse future.
