From a Bay Area delegation meeting, to building affordable homes, and visiting Hillsborough's turn-around schools, I had another busy week!

Then, on Saturday, I joined Habitat for Humanity to put in some work on an affordable housing project in the heart of Brandon. 

Even in the midst of the pandemic, Hillsborough County Public Schools HALVED the number of its failing schools. I went to visit two of these transformation schools (Folsom and Kenley) that found success by skipping more than just one letter grade to find out their secret, their ongoing challenges, and how we can help more kids the way these schools did.

Finally, it was time for a drink! I went over to Florida Avenue Brewing for "work."

I've got a few more, but I'm having too much fun watching our Bucs beat-up on Miami right now so... Until next time friend!
