John,

As you read this, more than 1,400 Kellogg’s workers across the country are
on strike for a fair contract. It was a deep *honor* to join our BCTGM
Local 374G on the picket line yesterday in Lancaster, PA.

In today’s world, it’s so easy to pull the ladder up after you. But I
can’t think of a finer definition of solidarity than older BCTGM union
members putting it all on the line and going on strike for up-and-coming
BCTGM union members. That’s just remarkable.

Look, Tony the Tiger and Kellogg’s cereals are among the most recognizable
figures in American consumerism. But you know what? They’re grrrrreedy.

In the past year and a half, Kellogg’s posted record earnings + authorized
1.5 billion in stock buybacks to line their shareholders’ pockets.

And now corporate executives want to cry poor while the next generation of
union workers break their backs feeding America? That’s just bullsh*t.

Let me be very clear: Kellogg’s workers deserve a fair contract + benefits
NOW.

What’s more, we gotta eliminate the Senate filibuster in order to pass the
PRO Act + a $15 minimum wage. And remember, that’s just the floor — not
the ceiling.

Bottom line, John, the Union Way
of Life is sacred to me, and protecting workers' rights and organized
labor is one of my highest priorities. I will always stand in solidarity
with workers. I hope you will, too.

In solidarity,

John

P.S. Our BCTGM Local 374G, from the Kellogg’s plant in Lancaster, PA, are
currently on the picket lines. These members need our help + support, so I
have to ask: [ [link removed] ]Can you please chip in and support BCTGM Local 374G as
they strike for a fair contract? Any amount you're able to give goes
towards supplies for the members that are walking the line. Thank you. 🙏
