Republicans in Raleigh have proven time and again that they will try to get away with blatant partisan gerrymandering. We can’t let that happen this time. Every single North Carolina voter deserves to have their voice heard in elections to come.

Sign our petition now to demand a more transparent process >>>

John,

Redistricting starts NOW.

North Carolina’s redistricting committees have begun meeting to start the process of drawing new legislative maps. We need them to know from day one that we demand a fair, transparent, and nonpartisan process — unlike last time.

Although the committees held a series of public hearings before they began drawing maps, there isn’t yet a plan to hold a similar series after the maps are released. We think this is unacceptable.

North Carolinians deserve to be heard. Sign Roy’s petition immediately to call on the committees to guarantee that they’ll hold hearings across North Carolina after drafting our legislative maps >>>

This can’t be a repeat of last time. Back in 2019, our old legislative maps got thrown out in court for their blatant partisan gerrymandering that gave some voters more of a say in our elections than others.

John, we can bet that Republicans in the legislature will take every opportunity to conduct this redistricting process without meaningful public input — that’s the only way they’ll be able to gerrymander the maps in their favor yet again.

We deserve to be heard. Add your name right now to demand public hearings after the new maps are released >>>

Thanks for standing with us,

Team Cooper
