RFK, Jr. Takes it to the Streets at The Harlem Vaccine Forum
By James Grundvig, Investigative Reporter
From the outset, CHD’s General Counsel, Mary Holland put The Harlem Vaccine Forum, held at historic Riverside Church on October 19th into perspective. She reminded the audience of the many civil rights titans who spoke in the church, from Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. to Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
So, when a time shortage forced the event’s end, and the crowd started to leave, finding Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. outside standing on a chair should have come as no surprise. He smiled to the crowd and picked up where he had left off. And, for the next twenty minutes, he riveted the audience. He attracted local residents, passersby, and motorists who pulled over, rolled down their windows, and listened to what he had to say.

Getting the Measles in Modern-Day America—Not Nearly as Dangerous as Portrayed
By Dr. Alan Palmer, CHD Contributing Writer
Throughout the 20th century, the U.S. and other Western nations made progress tackling problems related to nutrition, sanitation, hygiene, water, garbage and pests. With these improvements, the death rates from childhood infectious diseases plummeted—long before the advent of vaccines for those illnesses. U.S. vital statistics affirm that the measles mortality (death) rate had dropped 99.4% before introduction of the first measles vaccine in 1963.
Today, more American families and children benefit from a higher standard of living, nutritious food, clean living conditions; more have access to better medical and social services, yet big pharma would have everyone in the U.S. and the West believe that if they don’t take all the vaccines that officials can muster, they will be in danger of sliding back to the Dark Ages, with millions of people ravaged by infection and hanging on by an extremely fine and frayed thread.

The New York City Measles Vaccine Mandate—Past and Future
On September 5, Robert Krakow and CHD’s Mary Holland attended a talk that the NYC Commissioner of Health and Mental Hygiene, Dr. Oxiris Barbot, gave at New York Law School, entitled “Measles: NYC Policy and Thoughts on the Anti-Vaccine Movement.”
After heaping vitriol on the so-called anti-vaccine movement and explaining why its misinformation should be censored, Dr. Barbot accepted a gift from the moderator, a book by Professor Nadine Strossen entitled Hate: Why We Should Resist It with Free Speech, Not Censorship. It seemed an ironic twist.

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg testified this week in front of the House Financial Services Committee. The hearing was to discuss the company’s planned cryptocurrency. Congressman Bill Posey (FL) used his time to question him on Facebook’s censorship of vaccine information.
It is worth noting that Mark Zuckerberg and wife, Priscilla Chan have begun Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, a $600 million biotech initiative, to push forward on vaccine development.

New York Legal Update
On Friday, October 18, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Robert Krakow filed an appeal in C.F. v. New York City Dept. of Health and Mental Hygiene and Dr. Barbot, MD, challenging the mandate to compel vaccination against measles for all non-immune residents in four zip codes in Brooklyn, NY. Children’s Health Defense supported a challenge in April 2019, seeking a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction. While the New York trial court denied relief, the appellate department will now consider plaintiffs’ arguments on appeal.

Is Vaccine Compliance Equivalent to Public Health Safety?
By Ann Rosen, GreenMedInfo, CHD Coalition Partner
Anyone getting their news from mainstream media is likely to believe that the best way to keep our population healthy and protect people from infectious disease is to make sure EVERYONE is vaccinated. In fact, many people seem to think it's the ONLY way to preserve public health.
The WHO, CDC and federal and state legislators are pushing for total vaccine compliance as though our very lives depended on everyone around us getting every available vaccine. But is this true?

What Causes a Mysterious Paralysis in Children? Researchers Find Viral Clues
New research, published Monday points to a long-suspected culprit: enteroviruses, a group of common viruses that usually produce mild effects, but can sometimes cause neurological symptoms. Researchers found antibodies to enteroviruses in the cerebrospinal fluid of nearly 70 percent of the children with acute flaccid myelitis, a sign their bodies had mobilized to defend against enterovirus infection.
