GOP Gov. Brian Kemp just deployed his strategists to form a new group called Stop Stacey. They're using their deep political back channels throughout Georgia to keep Stacey Abrams from unseating Kemp in 2022.

Last week Stacey Abrams flew to Texas, kicking off her nationwide tour firing up progressives ahead of next year's midterms. Meanwhile, Kemp's Stop Stacey operatives are hard at work securing big-dollar donations in Georgia to make sure Stacey's grassroots network can't compete with Kemp's machine in 2022.
Stacey is the ONLY candidate capable of defeating Kemp & Co's fascist agenda to undermine our democracy with their authoritarian scheme. We have to protect her at all costs -- and prove that progressives everywhere stand with Stacey.
Stacey Abrams is smart, friend -- she will only put herself in front of the “GOP battering ram” if she knows her campaign is viable. It's a shame that so many of the Democrats who sung her praises for helping beat back Mitch McConnell in 2020 stopped supporting Stacey as soon as the going got tough.
