Seven months ago, our Democratic leaders in the House took some MAJOR steps to tackle election reform.
In one bold voice, 225 Democratic co-sponsors made a statement: They demanded fairer elections, fought to remove dark money in politics, and sought to raise the bar for ethics in Congress. And, the progressive blue wave that took back the House made this possible.
But Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell VOWED to kill this legislation.
Look, passing H.R. 1 is one of our top priorities, and we MUST put pressure on Mitch McConnel and the Senate to hold a vote so we can pass this progressive legislation that will drive our country forward.
