Hi Friend,

I’m so excited that Celebrate Progress is just under a month away! This
year, [ [link removed] ]on Wednesday November 3rd, starting at 6:00PM, we’ll be hosting
our biggest fundraiser of the year. The virtual gala is a space to come
together and honor some of Nevada’s most trailblazing progressive heroes
who made a difference in their communities this year.

I’d so love to see you there, even virtually, to share this special moment
with us! [ [link removed] ]Be sure to grab your ticket today to receive your BBP care
package of fun and interesting goodies. You can also become a monthly
donor to help us 365 days a year and receive a complimentary ticket!
Starting this week, we’ll be giving an in-depth preview of each honoree so
that you can know who’s who in the fight for justice and opportunity!

Former Lt. Governor Kate Marshall

[2]alt_text Former Lieutenant Governor Kate Marshall may have taken a new job in the
Biden-Harris administration as a Senior Advisor to Governors, but we know
home will always mean Nevada to her! She has earned 2021’s Progressive
Leader of the Year Award for her leadership during this extremely
challenging year. From coordinating outreach around the 2020 Census in
preparation for upcoming redistricting, to leading the Nevada Senate as
they passed major legislation providing relief to Nevadans struggling
during the pandemic, Lt. Governor Marshall will be sorely missed here in
the Silver State!

Marlene Lockard

[4]alt_text Marlene Lockard is a Nevada institution unto herself. Her professional
achievements are far too numerous to summarize here, but they include her
service as Nevada’s first woman Chief of Staff to Governor Richard Bryan,
and her extensive career breaking ground for women in IT in both the
public and private sector. She has worked as one of Nevada’s premier
progressive lobbyists in the Nevada legislature, as the head of her own
lobbying firm, The Lockard Group. We’re so lucky to know her and she has
more than earned the 2021 Progressive Legacy Award for Northern Nevada!

Bradley Schrager

[6]alt_text Out in Front super-fans will recognize Bradley Schrager as our resident
legal expert. What you may not know is that Bradley has had a long career
fighting for our democratic system, including this most recent 2020
election, where he helped beat back all the Big Lie lawsuits from the
wannabe-Guiliani’s in our own state. But he’s even more proud of
advocating on behalf of low-wage workers taking their bosses to task for
wage theft. He’s our Southern Nevada pick for the 2021 Progressive Legacy
Award!

[ [link removed] ]    Join us in celebrating Bradley!
These incredible Nevadans are only the first slate of honorees we’re
celebrating this year on November 3rd. Stay tuned for more honoree
features, and updates about who might be dropping in to share a few words
of wisdom! [ [link removed] ]Remember to get your tickets to save your (virtual) seat and
Celebrate Progress with us!

Sincerely,

PS: Help spread the Celebrate Progress cheer by sharing the [ [link removed] ]Facebook
Event with all your progressive friends!
