John,
Haitian migrants were crammed together in makeshift encampments in Del Rio, Texas and thousands have been deported without the chance to plead their case in front of a judge.
The treatment of Haitians entering the U.S., seeking a better life, has been unconscionable. It is not enough to merely condemn the actions of border officials if the administration does nothing to address the crisis at our border. The abuse Haitians face at detention centers and the life-threatening risk they face when deported cannot be permitted to continue one day longer.
Haitians deserve freedom, shelter, and a compassionate welcome to our country. The U.S. should help those fleeing for safety from natural disasters and political unrest, in accordance with our laws and humanitarian values. Join CHN and our national coalition to demand the Biden administration stop all deportations to Haiti!
With the administration expelling children as young as three days old, this is a complete moral failure and abdication of leadership. The Biden administration has the authority to grant humanitarian parole and stop the deportations to Haiti―and we are demanding they do exactly that.
Sign the petition! Demand the Biden administration immediately stop all deportations to Haiti.
Together, this is a fight we can win! But we have to make it clear to the White House that this is a top priority.
Thank you for all you do to demand accountability from our elected leaders and to fight for the needs of vulnerable people.
