A card may seem like a small thing. But the impact of a heartfelt message written on paper is profound. Watch the video above to see the impact created by the Soldiers' Angels Cards Plus Team. Turn your audio on to hear the special message from retired Brigadier General Carter W. Clarke, Jr., and WWII Paratrooper Tom Rice (more recently known for jumping out of a plane on his 100th birthday!).

Speaking of Cards...

It's not just veterans who are uplifted by cards, deployed are as well. While Angels do not expect to hear back from those they support because they understand that our service members need to focus on their mission, cards like these keep them inspired to continue doing what they do.

"A nice acknowledgment from a soldier that our notes, cards, etc. do make a difference and I know that even when we don't hear back, but this was especially nice to receive." -Angel John

"John, Thank you so much for reaching out with birthday wishes. People who will take time and put effort into showing their gratitude are in short supply these days. It means a lot to me to know that my efforts and sacrifices are recognized and appreciated by others. It also makes my time away from home and family more meaningful and worthwhile. Thank you for everything that you do to encourage our Armed Forces. May God bless you in all of your efforts and endeavors. Sincerely, John."
