Hi, John – it's Hilary, Gov. Lujan Grisham's campaign manager.
Did you see Michelle's message? I'm reaching out personally because our finance team just told me we're $5,441 behind our goal, and we need to make up the difference before midnight. Can you donate $5 or $25 to help us close the gap and keep New Mexico blue?
Here's the best link to donate:

I'm so proud of the work Michelle has done to mitigate climate change: From taking executive action on curbing carbon emissions to committing to the "30 by 30" target to conserve our natural landscape, Michelle is leading our state toward a greener future – but she needs your help to continue her work.
We're behind on our goal this week, and we really can't afford to miss deadlines in a race as important as this one. So, please, I know Michelle is counting on you: Will you donate $5 or $25 to help us reach our goal tonight, keep New Mexico blue and preserve a livable climate?

Subject: fending off climate deniers
John,
I was so proud to celebrate New Mexico's natural landscapes last month on World Rivers Day and National Public Lands Day. From the scenic Rio Grande to the the one-of-a-kind caverns of the Carlsbad Caverns National Park, New Mexico has so much natural beauty to offer.
But we also saw in September that we're on the brink of losing our wild places, our rich biodiversity and – most importantly – our livable climate to global warming. As the climate crisis unfolds, we've seen wildfires, hurricanes, and droughts intensify – not just across our country, but across the world.
I'm working my hardest to protect our natural landscape and mitigate climate change, but there's still so much work to do. That's why I need to raise $10,000 by midnight to expand my grassroots reelection campaign: Will you donate $5 to help me take immediate action to preserve a livable climate?

During my time as governor, I've committed to the science-based target to protect 30% of our state's lands by 2030. I've also taken strong action to help New Mexico transition to clean, renewable energy so that our state is carbon-free by 2045. And I had the distinct honor of being the only U.S. governor to speak at President Biden’s international Leaders Summit on Climate.
I couldn't be happier with how much our state has accomplished in such a short time, but I've been devastated to see the Republican Party block federal climate action every step of the way. If the GOP flips New Mexico red, I'm afraid they'll undo our state's progress, halt climate action, and take us down a dangerous road of increased fossil fuel pollution.
That's why I need to raise $10,000 before midnight tonight to fend off climate deniers and keep New Mexico blue. In a race as important as this one, it's critical that I hit every goal every step of the way, John. I'm really counting on you to donate tonight to help me keep taking action to preserve our climate:
Please, John, if we don't hit this goal before midnight, the GOP could surge ahead in the race: Will you rush $5 to help me reach my $10,000 goal, keep New Mexico blue, and continue my work to mitigate climate change?

Together, our grassroots movement has set the wheels in motion to conserve our state’s incredible natural resources and ensure that New Mexico remains, forever, the Land of Enchantment.
Let's keep up the good work.
Michelle Lujan Grisham
