Friend,

This week was a big week for us as we published a report on Critical Race Theory in Mississippi. Read it here. ([link removed])

Our report exposed the extent to which this divisive agenda is being promoted within the public school and university system in our state.

For too long the education establishment has brushed aside concerns about this extremist ideology by simply denying that they are teaching it. Our report provides evidence that they are. For example:
* Several public university departments explicitly espouse critical race theory, teaching young Mississippians that “systemic racism” perpetuates “white supremacy” in America. One department runs a course on the relationship between white identity and “white nationalism, white supremacy, white privilege and whiteness.”
* Mississippi’s Department of Education recommends teachers make use of professional development resources that clearly promote critical race theory.

We also published a model bill to educate lawmakers on what they need to do to combat this extremist ideology.

If every liberty-loving Mississippian joins forces, we can defeat this destructive and divisive agenda. That is what the Mississippi Center for Public Policy aims to do!

Thank you for your support and encouragement. This is a fight we can win!

Warm Regards,

Douglas Carswell
President & CEO

In the name of combating misinformation, the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure recently issued a new policy that vaguely prohibits medical misinformation from being spread by doctors, particularly on social media.
