I first met Theresa Greenfield on the campaign trail in Iowa this summer. She had just announced her run for Senate, and I was immediately taken by her authenticity, resilience, and commitment to Iowa families.

She’s the real deal. A self-described "farm kid" from Iowa, Theresa lost her first husband in a workplace accident when she was just 24 and pregnant with their second son. She says social security and worker’s compensation helped restart her life and build a career as an urban planner.
