John,

Halloween can be a spooky time -- but right now, politics is feeling a lot scarier.

From the relentless attacks on a woman's right to choose, health care, and fair elections to the rising cost of prescription drugs and inactivity from Mitch McConnell in the Senate, there's a lot going on in Washington, D.C. that can be terrifying.

But here at home in WA-08, the national Republicans' handpicked candidate just launched his campaign to defeat Dr. Kim Schrier. This means our campaign has been working in overdrive this month to make sure we have the resources we need to re-elect Kim next year.

Our end-of-month deadline is coming up on Thursday, October 31 at midnight -- and we're still short of our monthly goal. Can we count on you to chip in $5 or more before the deadline to make sure we don't come up short?

Listen, Kim's new opponent already said he'll support Donald Trump's harmful agenda if he is elected to Congress -- which means if he wins, the things that are scaring us in Washington, D.C. right now won't get any less scary. They'll get worse.

So despite everything going on right now, we can't be scared, John. We've got to fight back like never before.

Chip in $5 or more before our end-of-month deadline Thursday at midnight and help us keep fighting to re-elect Kim.

Thank you,

Team Schrier
