John,
I've spent a lot of time in education in my career. From working at the Department of Education and founding the Valencia Valley Technological Education Foundation to running for my local school board, I have fought for every student in CA-25 to have access to a quality education.
One of my biggest motivations in this race -- and my motivation for every election I have been a part of -- is a deep desire to improve our school system because schools are what got me to where I am today.
But let me tell you what really sucks. Mike Garcia votes against the students of this district every single chance he gets. Here's an example: The American Rescue Plan brought nearly $170 billion in much-needed funding to our students and public schools, funding that would increase health and safety -- Representative Mike Garcia voted against it.
In these times especially, I know how important education is, and I'm ready to put everything on the line for our students and their futures.
When I get to Congress I promise I will fight tooth and nail for education, but I cannot do it without you. Can you chip in $5 or more right now to help see the vision through?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
For parents across the city who've been balancing work and caring for (as well as educating) their kids these past few months -- it's never been more clear why access to a good education, and education funding, is so important. If we don't begin to promote the importance of health and safety we run the risk of allowing selfish representatives like Mike Garcia to create added stress to parents who send their children to school every day.
John, let's be honest, Mike doesn't want to deal with the facts. Instead, he would rather see hard-working families and our students right here in CA-25 suffer from his poor leadership.
That's why I need you to rush a $5 donation, or anything you can, to support my campaign and stop Mike Garcia from his dangerous platform of lies.
Thank you so much for helping my campaign and standing with our students!
