Team, I'll be honest with you. When campaigns like ours really try to talk about policy and why it's so important (like we're about to do now), a lot of people tune out, get bored, and delete our emails.

As you may know, Democrats in Congress are going through a hard slog right now trying to pass some critical legislation.
That includes extending the debt ceiling, strengthening and protecting voting rights, modernizing infrastructure, and of course passing the Build Back Better Act.
The Build Back Better Act is President Biden’s flagship agenda that would revolutionize our social safety nets and combat climate change.
But that's not all. The Build Back Better Act would also:
Fund community colleges
Make childcare more affordable
Expand Medicare
Fund comprehensive paid medical leave
Transition towards a clean energy economy
But passing the Build Back Better Act won’t be an easy battle. Republicans are doing E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G they can to obstruct our progress and steal our House and Senate majorities away from us before we can create meaningful change. Even California Democrats like me aren’t safe!
