The past two years have been challenging for folks here in Kentucky and across our country. But despite all of the challenges we've faced, Andy's priority has been putting Kentucky first.

Throughout the pandemic, he's made necessary decisions to keep Kentuckians safe, protect essential workers, and grow our economy. We're proud of the accomplishments under his leadership, and we wanted to make sure you were up to speed. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Andy:

* Reached across the aisle to expand voting options ahead of the 2020 election to minimize in-person contact;
* Made tough decisions that put people over politics, saving the lives of thousands of Kentuckians;
* Oversaw the state's successful testing and vaccination programs;
* Proposed bonuses for essential workers;
* Announced 270 new economic development projects;
* Utilized the $1.3 billion from the American Rescue Plan to expand broadband, ensure clean water, and build new school buildings;
* Led Kentucky's best economic year on record.

In times of crisis, public servants should put citizens' well-being above politics. That's exactly what Andy has done.

Kentucky is currently a leader in the South in vaccinations. Now, with the dangerous Delta variant spreading through the Commonwealth, it's more important than ever that we keep using every available resource to fight COVID-19, as we have been.
