But where we get frustrated on Team Hahn, is that the American people can't wait. The people who struggle to afford their medication month after month can't wait. Americans who drive to work every day on crumbling bridges can't wait.
But the reality of democratic governance is that power is shared, and disagreements and compromise are usually signs of democracy at work. Kara knows this all too well, having served in the country legislature for nearly a decade.
But there is little compromise to be had in Washington these days. Obstructionist Republicans are opposing any meaningful legislation to stop Democrats from "scoring points" before the midterms.
It's politics for the sake of politics, and the American people are getting left behind in the process. Let's be clear on the impact here: It's not Democrats who will suffer from Republican inaction, it's all of us, John. We know this too well after years of Lee Zeldin putting politics and self-interests ahead of progress.
