Our Republican opponent and Trump’s former Interior Secretary likes to brag about his Montana roots and living the #MontanaLife, but where he actually lives has always been in question.

We now know just how much of his time is spent outside Montana. Take a look at today’s Politico Magazine cover story:

“Ryan Zinke is Running for Office Again in Montana. On Instagram, He’s Often in Santa Barbara.”

The story goes on to detail how Montana residents hardly see Zinke in their communities, and that “It’s long been known that Zinke splits his time between Whitefish and Santa Barbara, California, where his wife owns property and a yacht.”

Zinke may try to brand himself as a man of Montana, but when he doesn’t even live here half the time and most of his campaign contributions are coming from out-of-state donors, you have to ask, who is he really trying to represent in Congress?

Laurie on the other hand has been living and serving her small town in Montana for decades, and 80 percent of our first quarter donors were from right here in the Treasure State.

Montanans deserve a full-time Montanan, someone who shares their experiences and struggles, representing them — not a guy who spends half his time living a life of luxury in an entirely different state.
