The New York Times reports, "Sen. Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona has privately
told colleagues she will not accept any corporate or income tax rate
increases."
But know this. Years ago, before corporate donors, Kyrsten Sinema used to
call for corporations to pay higher taxes. And, Axios reports that
"addressing climate change is one of her top priorities in any
compromise."
The New Republic reports there is no "moderate" way forward on climate
change. In the past, Kyrsten Sinema even called for corporations to "pay
their fair share" of taxes and called taxing the rich "common sense."
Ironically, Sinema recently told corporate lobbyists, "Senators need to
hear from their constituents." Agree?

taxes on billionaires, the ultra-wealthy, and big corporations is crucial

majority so that no one Senator has the power to derail the entire
Democratic agenda?
While she runs away from constituents but meets with corporate donors
waving fistfuls of cash at her, she clearly needs to be reminded: Making
billionaires and the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share of taxes is
critical to fighting climate change.
Thanks for being a bold progressive.

P.S. Sinema is also a problem when it comes to defending democracy and
voting rights. Some Arizona activists started a campaign accepting pledges
for a primary against Sinema if she does not end the filibuster. [ [link removed] ]Click
here to pledge -- you won't be charged if Sinema votes to reform the
filibuster. (Some other activists started a primary campaign against
Sinema, no matter what she does. [ [link removed] ]Click here to donate.)
