In four weeks, we'll find out who will be Virginia's next governor. Right now, Democrat Terry McAuliffe is in a statistical deadlock with far-right, pro-Trump Republican Glenn Youngkin. This race could go either way.

Virginia is one of the few states where statewide elections are held during the off-year, giving us a good picture of what to expect in the midterm. It's important that we set the tone and momentum for next year. Democrats won big in Virginia ahead of the historic 2018 'blue wave' midterm election. We must duplicate that effort.

There's too much at stake to sit it out. That's why we're asking:
