John,
In case you missed it, I wanted to send you our press release with information about how the Republican Party of Texas is
fighting to ban vaccine mandates. As you
know, the radical left has been insistent on unconstitutionally forcing employers to vaccinate every employee with few exemptions.
If you agree that Texas law should protect businesses and
employees from forced vaccination, add your name
to our Open Letter to Governor Abbott right now. But that's not all, we need
your help to push these illegal regulations OUT of Texas.
The best way to do that is to defeat this radical agenda as quickly as possible – and with the mid-terms nearly upon us, now
is the time. Will you join us with a special gift of $25 or
more today to defeat vaccine mandates?
Thank you in advance for your support. Sincerely,
Matt Rinaldi Chairman, Republican Party of Texas
Republican Party of Texas Asks Governor Abbott to Ban Vaccine Mandates
Austin, TX, Release: Oct 7, 2021 For Immediate Release
Today the Texas Republican Party released
an Open Letter To Governor Abbot and a Resolution Defending Medical Freedom and Personal Responsibility. Both of these actions encourage Governor Abbott to protect personal freedom from overreaching vaccine
mandates we have recently seen from the Biden administration and large corporations. Current Texas law
provides no legal protection to any Texas based employer or employee who resists these unconstitutional orders. Texas only protects patrons at a business from showing proof of a vaccine; employees at the same business do
not enjoy the freedom afforded to their customers. Both the letter and resolution encourage Governor Abbott to ban private vaccine mandates by adding
the item to the special session call. The Republican Party of Texas is further asking all Texans who have been affected by a vaccine mandate to
speak out and tell their story to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Speaker of the House. If you have experienced harassment, differing
treatment, or lost your job, your elected officials need to know about it.
