Like ILCM, I was born in 1996. That year, my mother brought me as a newborn baby to ILCM to apply for my green card. I came into the St. Paul office again as a preteen to renew my green card and later in 2014, I returned to apply for U.S. citizenship. Two years later, I became a naturalized citizen, and this past January, I began working at ILCM. Please join us on October 19th to hear Paola and her mom share their immigration story together with founding ILCM Executive Director Karen Ellingson and ILCM Pro Bono Manager Timothy Sanders Szabo. You'll also hear:

• Highlights of ILCM’s first 25 years and our vision for the future 
• Founders’ Awards honoring those who have been consistent and unwavering partners to ILCM 
• Remarks from Oballa Oballa, former ILCM client and Austin City Councilmember 
• A performance by Cantus
