John, as a doctor my most important job has always been to listen to my patients — because the people whose lives are directly affected should be the ones telling me what matters to them and helping direct their care.
I’ve taken that approach to this campaign, too. I’ve been traveling the Commonwealth to talk with folks — small business owners, union factory workers, health care professionals, parents, child care workers — about the issues that matter to them most. Nothing is more important to me than bringing everyone's voices with me to the U.S. Senate to make sure we deliver the lasting results workers and families are counting on.
And there’s a lot we need to work on. Doctors and women alike are worried that access to a safe and legal abortion could soon become a thing of the past. Too many are still — during a global pandemic — struggling to afford health care coverage. Voting rights continue to be under attack. And so much more.
I know we can tackle these issues together — but today, I really want to hear from you. I’m hoping you’ll take just a couple of minutes to fill out our fall priorities survey to share what’s on your mind.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you setting aside the time to share what matters most to you. Thank you.
With gratitude,
Val
