** Domestic Violence Prevention Fundraiser
"Believe in Me: Empowering Survivors of Domestic Violence"
------------------------------------------------------------

ACCESS' domestic violence fundraiser ([link removed]) is aimed at empowering the lives of hundreds of survivors, children, and families who are looking to build a brighter future.

Over the past year, domestic violence survivors and their families have contended with tremendous hardship: uncertain work and financial situations, prolonged periods of isolation and loss of social and emotional support. As the world experienced shut downs and closures in the face of COVID-19, ACCESS continued providing critical, life saving services to domestic violence survivors.

Through the pandemic, the number of survivors and families ACCESS serves increased, reaching almost 800 individuals. And that's why we're hoping you will join us in this fundraiser. Domestic violence survivors need your help. Learn more and donate today: bit.ly/BelieveInMe21.

** Arab American National Museum Grand Gala
------------------------------------------------------------
Saturday, Oct. 16, The Henry

Presented by the Friends of AANM, the Grand Gala ([link removed]) celebrates AANM’s singular role as the first and only museum dedicated to telling the Arab American story. This year, AANM welcomes the National Arab Orchestra ([link removed]) , featuring vocalists Usama Baalbaki
([link removed]) and Nibal Malshi
([link removed]) , as entertainment for the evening.

The Grand Gala ([link removed]) is more than a fundraiser; it is a festive reunion of our resilient Arab American community and a celebration of strength and hope. Find all event details on the AANM website ([link removed]) .

Due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases, particularly the highly contagious Delta variant, AANM respectfully asks that all Gala attendees be fully vaccinated before attending the event. Please plan to provide proof of vaccination upon arrival to the event. Wearing face masks will be optional, though strongly encouraged.

Client Success Story
Check out our recent feature of Majed Shohatee, one of the clients we serve through our Employment and Training services. Before gaining employment assistance through ACCESS, Majed felt directionless. With little support, few resources and the stigma of incarceration weighing on his shoulders, he wasn’t sure where to turn. That’s when Shohatee found help through ACCESS’ employment services.
