Dear Friend,
According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 1 in 5 Americans experience mental illness in any given year. Despite its prevalence, the stigma and fear of seeking treatment still remain for some.

Ahead of World Mental Health Day, will you join us in pledging to help end the stigma surrounding mental illness?

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on the mental health of millions of Americans, including many health care workers who feel overwhelmed after a year and a half on the front lines.

Mental health care during this stressful time — and beyond — is just as important as physical health care. When mental illness is left unaddressed, it can have a very real impact on your overall health. Depression, for example, increases the risk of diabetes, heart disease, and stroke.

You can support mental health awareness and help ease the stigma by talking openly to your loved ones about mental illness and seeking help when needed. Sign our pledge to show you’re ready to help end the stigma surrounding mental illness. [[link removed]]
