John — Before you log off for the weekend, I wanted to send a note outlining one of the most powerful ways you can support Democrats right now.

Since Democrats regained control of the Senate, we’ve been moving quickly to pass legislation to help Americans across the country.

We passed a $1.9 trillion stimulus bill to jumpstart our economy, speed up vaccinations, and support families with an expanded Child Tax Credit — all without a single Republican vote!

But I’ve seen some scary polls in recent months that should set off alarm bells for Democrats. If we’re not able to turn the tide in some states, we could find ourselves looking at Mitch McConnell in the majority when the Senate reconvenes after the upcoming midterms.

So back to the part where you can help. Defend the Senate has a big fundraising goal to hit this month and every dollar they raise will help elect Democrats and defend our Senate majority.

So I’m personally asking: Will you chip in to Defend the Senate to help protect our Democratic Senate majority? It’s absolutely crucial that we don’t give in or give up. [[link removed]]

This isn’t the time for Democrats to get complacent or ambivalent, John. The hard work and sweat we put in now will make all of the difference come this time next year.

So let’s keep up the hard work!
