HARTFORD – Our governor, just in the past week, has mocked religious freedom, and mocked (beatified) Mother Teresa. ([link removed])

Ned has said that he's "done what we can do" in terms of crime in Connecticut. Meanwhile our major cities continue to be hurt by terrible violence under Democrat leadership-and small town Connecticut is being devastated by a wave of violent crime in addition. The public safety crisis remains unaddressed. ([link removed])

"Legislative Democrats once again took the cowardly way out and extended Governor Lamont's emergency powers until February-making Connecticut the only state in the Northeast to still have a governor ruling the state unilaterally. Meanwhile he's off betting at the casino or glad-handing at the big E ignoring their mask mandates ([link removed]) , while he imposes draconian restrictions on school children and our municipalities. Instead of addressing crime during his special session, he instead extends his unconstitutional, unilateral rule of the Constitution State. Our founders would be ashamed of the fact that the Democrats in the Connecticut General Assembly would willingly agree to abdicate their co-equal power and rather hide behind Governor Lamont's monarch robes" Proto said "Connecticut's elected officials and voters ought to heed the wise words of Lord Acton, that Power tends to corrupt, and
absolute power corrupts absolutely."

It is clear that the absolute power that the cowardly Democrats have given to Ned Lamont has absolutely driven Connecticut to the fiscal edge ([link removed]) and now the hardworking men and women of Connecticut's subject class are absolutely looking at having to pay more for less in Connecticut" Proto concluded.
