Friend,
A collective of artists and activists, entrepreneurs and business executives, community and grassroots organizers, and civic leaders are using their voices to demand that Congress deliver on a pathway to citizenship for millions and that we welcome Haitian and Black immigrants at the border with dignity.
This group of more than 75 celebrities and leaders put out an open letter to Congress in a full-page ad in the Washington Post calling for a pathway to citizenship for immigrants across the country to be delivered by the end of the year.
The letter (shared in full below) also urges Members of Congress to take action for a pathway to legalization and to protect Haitian and black refugees and asylum seekers. Will you add your voice to this call?
Will you join Uzo Aduba, Jameela Jamil, America Ferrera, and more in urging your representatives to act today?
This is the year. We can’t let this opportunity pass us by.
Thank you for using your voice today,
Juan Escalante
