The evidence is conclusive. Background checks and restrictions on assault weapons save lives. Yet in America, it feels like there's another mass shooting every few days.

Every few days: families broken, communities shattered, and fear rampant.

But, Republicans in Congress and the Trump administration do nothing. Public offender number one? Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. It's not fair to say that McConnell isn't lifting a finger. Because he's hard at work blocking every reasonable effort to curb gun violence in America.

And you know what? We're done. In 2020, we're voting each of them out. Sign our petition: Commit to supporting 2020 candidates who will fight back against the scourge of gun violence in our country.

It's painfully obvious to anyone with a sliver of compassion that we must take a stand for safety and pass sensible measures to address our national gun violence epidemic. But, I suppose the NRA and their allies will stop at nothing to allow this senseless violence to continue to wreak havoc in communities across the country.

We can no longer be too afraid to take them on, to ruffle feathers, to make some good trouble. They're going to come after any Democrat that attempts to do the right thing. Let's be ready to beat them at the ballot box.
