It’s my Dad’s birthday today, and a gift card just wouldn’t cut it this year.

So, when my Mom told me she was working with the campaign team to raise $60,000 for his 60th birthday, I jumped at the opportunity to help because there’s no gift more meaningful for my Dad than the opportunity to serve Marylanders as our next Governor.

I have to ask: If you can, please chip in $2, $10, or even $20 to help us hit our biggest goal yet and surprise my Dad by midnight! [[link removed]]

Team, writing to you to ask for money isn’t something that comes naturally to me, but it’s the least I can do for my Dad. When I needed help moving from Wisconsin to Colorado at the height of the 2020 election, he showed up, taking a strategy call from a field in Nebraska just so I wouldn’t have to move by myself. That’s just the kind of person my Dad is -- he always puts others before himself and shows up when you need him.

He’ll keep showing up for Maryland families, but first, we have to send him to Annapolis. Will you help me show my Dad that we have his back -- no matter what?

Please pitch in to help us hit our $60,000 goal and give my Dad the resources he needs to win. Your support is critical to sending my Dad to Annapolis to fight for Maryland families.

Tom’s 60th birthday is on Thursday, and I need your help with a surprise for him if you're up for it 🙂.

I’m hoping to surprise Tom with $60,000 in small-dollar donations raised from supporters just like you, who believe in this team and know what having Tom as Maryland’s Governor would mean for our state. Nick and Haley tell me it’s the most ambitious goal we’ve set for a single fundraising drive yet, but we can hit in time for his birthday if everyone reading this chips in $2 or more.

Tom is the most selfless person I know, so he’d never ask for anything like this for his birthday -- even a big one like 60. But meeting his fundraising goals and setting this campaign on a path for success means the world to him because it means he’s one step closer to serving Maryland as our Governor.

I’ve said it before, but Tom has the strongest moral compass and the kindest heart. For the last 25 years, I’ve watched him put that heart to good use for families in our state as President of the Montgomery County Council and Maryland Labor Secretary. Tom has devoted his life to serving others. He’s determined to continue that work as Governor of Maryland, and I can think of no better person to do the job.

So, I’m asking: Will you help me surprise Tom by meeting our $60,000 goal in time for his 60th birthday on Thursday? It really would mean everything to him knowing you have his back.
