I wanted to personally update you on the state of our race to unseat QAnon-apologist and GOP Congresswoman Lauren Boebert in Colorado.
Across the country, states have been in the process of creating new legislative maps based on the results of the 2020 Census. And last week, Colorado's Independent Redistricting Commission approved our new maps. Here's what the new 3rd Congressional district looks like:
And here's the big news: With the lines redrawn, the new CO-3 map leaves our campaign as the single *best-positioned* Democratic campaign to defeat far-right, Trump-ally GOP Congresswoman Lauren Boebert.
It's all hands on deck from now until November 2022, but it's the work we do right now that will make all the difference on Election Day. Please, will you chip in to help defeat GOP Congresswoman Lauren Boebert and flip this seat blue?
While this is a new map, a lot is still the same.
First, I'm still running for the same reason: This community. This district needs someone in Washington willing to do what it takes to protect our water, save our schools, and bring back a thriving economy for rural Colorado — that's why I'll fight for everyone from Pueblo to Craig in Congress.
Second, our opponent, QAnon Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, is the same. Boebert has failed her constituents as their representative. She's ignored the needs of working families, voted against protecting workers' rights, and spread white supremacist rhetoric.
Third, our district is still huge and still takes hours to drive across. To reach voters in every corner and organize everywhere, we're going to need the support of this grassroots team.
