Applications Open for Grants from The Laura Bush Foundation for America's Libraries

“Once a child learns to use a library, the doors to learning are always open.” — Mrs. Laura Bush

The Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries is accepting applications through Dec. 31 for grants to expand and update school library collections. Public schools must have a Title 1 designation to apply. Private schools at which at least 50% of the students qualify for financial aid are also eligible.

The Foundation’s goal is to encourage all students to develop a love of reading and learning. You can help us spread that love of reading by sharing this opportunity with the school librarians in your community.
