The PBC School Board makes the News with a piece entitled, “Palm Beach County’s War Against School Kids.” This outlines one school disciplining an excellent student for “disobedience and Insubordination” leading to actual suspension from school because she and her parents do not want her to wear a mask all day. She is in 2nd grade.

The City Council held its first FY 2021/2022 Budget Hearing. Despite compelling arguments from both Council Members Marciano and Tinsley to slightly lower the proposed millage to 5.50 from 5.55, Mayor Litt, Vice-Mayor Reed and Council Member Woods voted to raise taxes. For read more.

Mercedes Schlapp served as White House Director of Strategic Communications in the Trump administration from September 2017 to July 2019. Following that she went on to work on the Trump 2020 re-election campaign as Senior Advisor for Strategic Communications.
Matt Schlapp is the pro-Trump chairman of the American Conservative Union. ACU conducts the CPAC events, the largest conservative gatherings in America. During his five-year tenure as chairman, ACU has almost tripled in size. CPAC is live-streamed on various platforms to millions of viewers around the world. Matt Schlapp leads the lobbying firm, Cove Strategies, which had strong ties to the Donald Trump administration. He is also a Fox News political contributor.
Mercedes and Matt both held leadership roles in Presidential administrations. They are quoted regularly in major media sites and write for various publications, including The Washington Times and The Hill. They host CPAC Now, a digital political show which was born out the sudden rise of lockdown and cancel culture in 2020.
