I’m terrified of heights, folks. But a few weeks back, I put on a climbing harness and hit the crag in Golden, Colorado to talk climate change.

The climate crisis is taking a toll on our public lands, our homes, and our public health. This year, it landed on Coloradans’ doorstep — from thick wildfire smoke to mudslides to droughts to soaring temperatures.

Climate change isn’t some theoretical future problem, it is here and now — we need to take action immediately. Heck, I’m so serious about this, that I’m willing to dangle off a ledge!

The good news is, we have an opportunity to take real action on climate change by investing in clean energy like wind and solar, electric vehicles, climate-resilient infrastructure, and more. But it’s going to take a groundswell of support to get legislation like this passed in Washington.

Congress must act quickly and boldly to address the climate crisis. If you’re with me, add your name to my petition demanding Congress act on the climate crisis now.

If I can conquer my fear of heights, Congress can get together and get this done for the American people and our future generations.

Thanks for your support on this.
