Hey there folks,
It’s Tevin -- Digital Communications Director for Team Ryan.
Did you hear our campaign made history last week? We are the first U.S. Senate campaign in Ohio history to unionize!
After organizing with IBEW Local 1466, we were voluntarily recognized. And I couldn’t be prouder to be part of this union.
This campaign is all about cutting workers in on the deal, and our team is proof that Tim practices what he preaches. He’ll fight for protections for all workers and ensure their voices are heard, just like he does with our campaign.
Campaigns are notorious for their long hours and demanding schedules, but even before we unionized, Tim made sure our team was treated fairly.
Tim has a long record of fighting for Ohio workers. He grew up in a union family and knows that workers are better off when they’re able to collectively bargain for fair wages and good working conditions.
Folks, we think we can all agree that it's essential to cut workers in on the deal. But we can only do that by expanding our Democratic majority. And right now our majority is razor thin -- if the Republicans flip a single seat, it’s all over.
Can we count on you to chip in so we can expand our majority and get to work for ALL Ohio workers? With Republicans funneling money into this race, every dollar counts.
The difference couldn’t be clearer between Tim and his Republican opponents: Tim’s got the backing of 19 unions who represent everyone from manufacturing workers on our factory floors, to the nurses in our hospitals, to the construction trades workers rebuilding our roads and bridges, to the teachers working to give Ohio kids the bright future they deserve -- because they know he goes to the mat every day to fight for working people all across Ohio.
Ohio deserves someone who understands that workers have been doing everything right but are still getting the short end of the stick.
We need Tim Ryan in the Senate, but first we need to flip this seat blue and expand our Democratic majority. Can you chip in what you can so we can get to work and finally cut workers in on the deal?
In solidarity,
Tevin
