Friend,

In 2020, the average US CEO to worker pay ratio was 351 to 1. In many cases, top executives rigged the system so they received bonuses, even though their performance suffered.

It’s unacceptable that while the Covid-19 pandemic left working families financially vulnerable -- despite putting their health at risk to continue working -- executives profited. Workers are the backbone of any company, and they deserve a living wage and benefits.

I’m proud to lead the fight to limit CEO pay disparity, starting with my Greater Accountability in Pay Act, which requires companies to disclose the pay raise ratio between their top executives and their median-pay employees. This is an important first step to regulating executive compensation.

But in order to make real change, we’ll need all hands on deck. With your help, I’ll continue to fight for solutions that put working families first. Can I count on you? [[link removed]]

It won’t be easy, but I’ve taken on the hard fights my whole career, and I’m not going to stop now. Together, we can regulate CEO pay disparity to ensure that workers receive the compensation they deserve.

Are you with me? [[link removed]]

Let's get to it,
Nydia
